Interactive Virtual Museum Tour
The museum wilThe museum will provide an interactive and innovative experience for the visitor. A virtual tour of the Museum of Honor Books allows the remote visitor to experience an exciting and authentic experience and feel that he is there itself in the actual museum. Providing an opportunity to every Jewish citizen to visit the museum virtually.l provide an interactive and innovative experience for the visitor. Problem Statement
Create a complete 3d Virtual Tour on the web and on boarding of the user using a museum Website. So it’s a challenge for backend team and front end also to create a seamless web experience as a virtual tour.
Solution
As virtual tour is not only about tour but the need is that we can click on any of the books there itself and we are able to view and flip the pages and read the content then and there itself.
Exploration & Research
We will start exploring about our major challenge that how we will render and run 3d files on web so after researching for the same we will come to know about 3js – A JavaScript 3d library that will be used to create, display animated 3d graphics on a web browser.
POC First Hurdle to Overcome
We need to start working on first Proof of concept and for that we will start working on the first section that to Display the book and when we click the book it opens a tray where we select the book and Flip the pages to see its content.
Once the POC has been finalized and approved then we will start working on the Site and 3D museum parallel.
Technology Challenge
Below are the final designs of the website from where a user got on-boarded by filling a form and reach to the Virtual Museum.
Virtual Museum
The museum is the virtual 360-degree space that is an exact replica of the original museum and there you can look around the museum and the book and by zoom in or out you will reach to the book.
Interactive book and contents
Once you click the book the Book opened interactively and we are able to check some of the pages and their contents to read.
